The Grill Press is designed to stay comfortable during shorter cooking sessions and indirect heat (like pressing a panini). However, the Grill Press is not heat-proof! The handle will heat up when placed directly on a hot pan, flat-top grill, or left over a heat source for an extended period. For safest handling, use an oven mitt or pot holder, no matter the cooking method.
